About this experience
Come spend some time behind the curtain of the first (legal) working distillery in Hollywood.
Step inside our 1920s warehouse on Santa Monica Boulevard, walk past the copper still while it's still hot, and learn how our small-batch spirits — including the world's first vodka made from California dates — go from grain (or date!) to glass.
Along the way you'll hear stories about the building's century of Hollywood history, see exactly how the equipment works, and discover what makes our spirits genuinely different from anything on a backbar.
The experience ends with a guided tasting of three of our handcrafted spirits, often including small-batch releases available only at the distillery.

What guests are saying
★★★★★ Dan Faber A new MUST do in Hollywood! Took my wife for a tour and tasting and it was SO fun. The tour was super cool and interesting — especially hearing about the local botanicals in their gin — and the tasting was DELISH.
★★★★★ Alexis Di Gregorio Came here for a birthday tasting and the experience was 15/10. Molly and Evan were awesome, so knowledgeable, and their gin, vodka, and bourbon were truly some of the best I've ever had.
★★★★★ Karen Heckler So enjoyed my experience at the Hollywood Distillery. The bar is stunning with leather "saddle" bar stools. Since these are boutique liquors, they are unlike anything you'll find in the marketplace — the tasting notes are very complex.
★★★★★ Daisy H. My husband and I had a great experience at this new distillery in Hollywood. So fun to taste some locally made spirits — including their vodka made from dates! Super friendly staff.
★★★★★ Jacques Massachi Beautiful space, welcoming staff, and spirits that are top-notch — smooth, flavorful, and crafted with real care. Excited to see this place become a staple in LA.
