Our Spirits
Four spirits made by hand in a 1920s warehouse on Santa Monica Boulevard — Hollywood's first working distillery since Prohibition. Each is distilled on a 1,000-gallon Vendome copper pot still, bottled by hand, and available for California shipping and pickup at the tasting room.
Oasis Vodka
Distilled from Coachella Valley Medjool dates instead of grain. Soft, subtly floral, with honey and dried-fig notes that survive distillation. The first pour of our tasting flight and the one guests remember. Read about California date growing →
Nopalera Gin
A California gin built on prickly pear, juniper, and Central Valley citrus. Brighter and drier than a London Dry, with a desert-vegetal note underneath that makes a Negroni taste like the desert. Read how gin is made →
Zanja-Madre Bourbon
A high-rye bourbon — 60% corn, 35% rye, 5% malted barley — aged in new charred American oak and named for the original water channel that fed Spanish Los Angeles in 1781. Drier and spicier than a typical Kentucky bourbon, with the California aging climate producing a smoother integration than Kentucky's angel-share-heavy aging cycle.
Zanja-Madre Rye
The bourbon's older sibling. 95% rye, 5% malted barley — a true rye, not a high-rye bourbon labeled as one. Bottled at 100 proof. Built for Manhattans and the drinker who wants something with a spine.
How and where to buy
Every bottle we make is available for pickup at the tasting room or for shipping within California. All four spirits are poured side by side in the tasting flight at the end of our distillery tour — the best way to taste them before choosing which bottle to take home.
