A Hollywood bachelorette is a different kind of weekend than Nashville or Charleston. The neighborhood is dense, the bars are theatrical, and the daytime activities can be more interesting than another rooftop. Here's a working itinerary built around the distillery, with the cocktail bars and dinner spots that fill out a great weekend.
The distillery tour as the centerpiece
A private distillery tour for the group is a near-perfect bachelorette anchor. Sixty minutes, all four spirits in a tasting flight, photographs with a 1,000-gallon copper still, custom cocktail menu options if you want a bar takeover after. Group cap is twelve for the standard public tour, but private tours run any day of the week and we can scale up.
- Standard tour for groups up to 8. Book the public tour, $30 per guest. Show up together, get the regular guide, leave with bottles.
- Private tour for groups of 10–20. Book privately for $25 per guest add-on (over the $30 ticket). Same tour, your group only.
- Private buyout for the night. If the bachelorette is the kind of group that wants the whole space, we do full evening buyouts with a custom cocktail menu, dinner catering, and the bar.
A working weekend itinerary
Friday afternoon. Arrive, settle in at the Roosevelt or Tommie. Late lunch on Sunset.
Friday evening. Reservations at Musso & Frank or Yamashiro for dinner. Late drinks at the Tropicana at the Roosevelt.
Saturday afternoon. Distillery tour at Hollywood Distillery. Group of ten, sixty minutes, four-spirit flight, photo wall.
Saturday evening. Dinner reservations — Petit Trois or Providence depending on budget. Then a show at the Comedy Store on Sunset.
Sunday morning. Brunch at Yamashiro for the view, or Bottega Louie downtown for the photo.
Why a distillery tour is good for bachelorettes
- Everyone has something to talk about (the still, the spirits, the building's history)
- The tasting flight gets the group warmed up without anyone over-pacing
- The retail wall makes for natural take-home gifts (bottles, signed by the partners)
- The space photographs unbelievably well — copper still, factory windows, golden hour
Groups of 10–20. Any day of the week.
Private tour for your group, custom cocktail menu options, full evening buyouts available.
